Hereford Canoe Hire operate on one of the quietest and safest stretches of the Wye and work hard to keep it that way, so their clients enjoy a safe and relaxing adventure.
Hereford Canoe Hire’s stretch of the Wye is ideal for both the novice and family, or anyone who wants to be absorbed in this beautiful, quiet stretch of countryside. You can hire a canoe for any period from 2 hours to 5 days, so you paddle away at your own pace. They will advise on routes and stopping places along the way where you can be fed and watered.

Williams Handmade Leather Workshops
A range of half day, one day and two-day courses. Some courses are suitable for beginners, with students learning the basic leather skills (or refreshing their memory of them) by firstly learning and practising how to hand stitch leather.
You will learn how to cut straps, edge bevelling and creasing, riveting, hand saddle stitching and edge finishing. At the end of each course you will have made a belt or bag to take home with you.
Wenlock Pottery
Mike – a potter for 40 years – offers a range of courses available for all levels, both beginner and those wishing to extend their skills. So if you’ve never made a pot before or if you are experienced but want to develop your skills you are equally welcome.
Half day taster sessions include 2-3 hours on the wheel with coffee, tea and cake provided.

You’ll have the chance to discover a hidden talent as well as reaping the therapeutic benefits of working with clay. You will be designated a potter’s wheel to share, with a professional potter at hand to coach you through the process.
