Lyepole Fishery

The Lyepole Fishery is a double bank, 1 mile stretch of medium-sized trout river a few miles upstream of Aymestrey.

Flowing through sedate country within a steep-sided valley, the gravel and silt riverbed is safe to wade. Tickets available from the Wye & Usk Foundation

Jay Farm Fly Fishery

Jay Farm Fly Fishery is a still water fly fishery with stocked rainbow and wild brown trout to double figures.

River Teme, Ludlow

The River Teme and its tributaries contain an abundance of fish species including chub, barbel, roach, trout, grayling and pike.

There are free public fishing stretches on the River Teme at Bread Walk, Ludford Bridge, Steventon and at Millennium Green between the Dinham and Mill Street weirs. A rod licence is required.

Docklow Pools

The Figure of Eight is available for day ticket anglers. This lake has 15 pegs and is stocked with carp, tench, roach, rudd, chub, bream, and barbel.

The Mickey Mouse Pool is one of the oldest commercial lakes in the United Kingdom. Stocked with carp and silver fish, this is also a day ticket fishery.
